Suggestions on upgrading the 8215 movement to the 8315 movement

The creator of sanmartin watches. When the supply of NH35 movement was in short supply this year, we chose Miyota's 8215 movement to replace the NH35 movement, but we received bad feedback from watch friends in the forum. The impression of the movement is not particularly good. I understand that everyone has a good opinion of Miyata's new 8315 movement.

Advantages of 8315:
The 1.8315 second hand has the function of adjusting the time and stopping the second, and the time adjustment can be accurate to the second, which is more accurate.
2. The power reserve is increased to 60 hours, which is about 20 hours higher than that of the 8215 movement.
3. The movement splint and automatic rotor have decorative polishing, which is more beautiful.
Consult the Miyota movement supplier, the price of the 8315 movement is 20 US dollars more expensive than the 8215 movement, and more expensive than the PT5000 movement. (The price is lower than the price of pt5000 to make up for the deficiencies brought by the 8215 movement)

I'm also talking about our brand pricing here. Instead of simply adding the cost of the movement directly, I price it based on the cost of our accessories plus our fixed profit margin. Because the watch will inevitably encounter various problems in use, we provide a two-year warranty service. It belongs to the quality of the movement or the watch itself. We repair it for free, so we need to add some to the initial deposit if we want to guarantee that the service will work well. I think that will be the case for long-term brands.

Regarding the plan to upgrade the 8315 movement from the 8215, the 8315 is about $20 more expensive than the 8215 movement. These models are not priced at the overall cost, and directly add the cost of the movement of $20, that is, the 8215 is upgraded to 8315, and the price of the movement model is increased by $40. For example, the SN0012 now retails for $238 for the 8215, and an upgrade to the 8315 retails for $278.

If you have any suggestions for upgrading the 8315 movement and pricing, please drop me a note. If more people accept it, I will listen to everyone's suggestions. Will order a new 8315 caliber to upgrade. Thank you so much!
